Miyajima Island is one of the most famous destinations near Hiroshima.

1. Travel from Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi
The first step is reaching Miyajimaguchi, the ferry port for Miyajima.

Take the JR Sanyo Line from Hiroshima Station to Miyajimaguchi Station.

From Miyajimaguchi Port, ferries depart for Miyajima about every 15 minutes.

Another convenient option is the Aqua Net Hiroshima ferry, also called the World Heritage Sea Route.
This boat departs from Motoyasu Pier, located next to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, and goes directly to Miyajima.
Unlike the train route, this option does not require any transfers.
